“Nehemiah: Committed to the Work”

"You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem is devastated and its gates are burned with fire. Come, and let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem so that we will no more be a reproach." Then I told them that the hand of my God had been good to me and also about the king’s words that he had spoken to me. And they said, “Let us rise up and build!” So they strengthened their hands for the good work..." Nehemiah 2:17-18

Committed to the Work by Alicia Purdy: Jan. 20, 2019

Nehemiah was called to the work of building the Lord’s Kingdom- as is every Christian! You’ll see a lot of parallels between what he experienced and what it is like still today when working “on the wall” so the Kingdom of God does not suffer reproach, and to provide a place for the captives who have been set free to come and dwell.

Watch/listen and learn how to discern between who is committed to the work, and who is not, and what Nehemiah did to keep the work of the kingdom moving ahead!
