Good morning! I am excited to share with you a teaching I recently did for my local church’s morning devotional Bible study. (I will continue this teaching in more depth in December in a series of blog posts as we examine the life of Jesus Christ- one of my favorite things to do!)
When Paul wrote that Jesus is the “image of the invisible God” (Col. 1:15) and when Jesus Christ was referred to as, “the firstborn” of many spiritual conditions, the Word presents a profound statement and permeates every, single aspect of your life as a believer. In today’s devotional broadcast I’m going to share with you what that really looks like in Him. Jesus Christ being first matters in as fundamental faith foundation. In fact, “In the beginning” is one of the most powerful and beautiful statements in the Bible and both times it is used (Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1:) JESUS, as a Person in the Godhead, was there.
In today’s video devotional I’ll expand on this profound meaning in a fresh, new way and explain why saying that we are “made in the image of God” isn’t entirely accurate, Scripturally speaking- and whose image we really bear!! It will challenge and inspire you and fill you with a fresh reason to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
The Word of God is filled with power, life and authority, and I’m going to give you the NUMBER ONE most powerful statement ever uttered about Jesus Christ that is found in the Scriptures… Tune in to learn what it is!

The Way of the Worshipper has been growing and gaining more visibility which is a wonderful answer to prayer as the Word the Lord has given me to encourage, teach and exhort the body of Christ to dig more deeply into the subject of worship continues to reach more people. The easiest way to be part of this continued growth is to share each devotional and video either on social media or by forwarding the blog newsletters to your friends and family. I am so humbled by what the Lord is doing and I am so grateful to have you as part of this journey of faith!
