Worship – ministry to the Lord – requires sacrifice. That is the very heart of God, to sacrifice everything. And we who believe follow His example! Worship is often times an act of complete, utter, blind, unwavering faith in the face of every kind of adversity. We don’t worship because things are good. We worship because GOD IS GOOD! Amen!
What is going to happen next in your life? I don’t know! But I do know that nothing changes God’s love for you. And the best thing you could ever do is to worship Him, to make worship your lifestyle, your natural response in all things, as Jesus did. Worship will keep your eyes fixed on the Lord, so that you are not drawn in by the enemy to look around at your circumstances.
Remember this, from Psalm 119:68, that God is good, and only does good things. In Revelation 15, the fiercest worshippers in heaven were the fiercest warriors, “on earth as it is in heaven.” Our worship launches us into His presence, tearing open the heavenlies and requiring the natural realm to fall in line with the spiritual. We worship to connect with the Lord because we love Him, and wherever He is there is the power to change everything! Worship is what VICTORY looks like before you actually see it! ❤
